A guide to students for all examinations to be held at Nunthorpe School in the academic year 2011/2012.

It is the aim of the Examinations Staff at Nunthorpe to ensure the examination periods run smoothly, with as little stress as possible for our students.

We hope the information on this section of the website will provide some helpful information regarding examinations here. Please take some time to read the following information carefully as examination regulations can change frequently.

The Awarding Bodies set down strict criteria, which Nunthorpe must follow, for the Conduct of Examinations. Therefore please pay particular attention to the Notice to Candidates which is located in the Exam Booklet which can be found below:

There are some GCSE subjects that take exams before the published starting dates these are Art, Drama & MFL, these are arranged at a convenient time in the run up to the first exam, please liaise with the Head of Faculty for the dates (Click here for Staff Contact Information : Parents – Nunthorpe School) or check the school calendar which is updated regularly.

    On Friday 15th October 2010, 40 members of Student Voice went on a residential visit to Stainsacre Hall Whitby. The aim of the visit was to team build with new members that had applied and joined Student Voice this academic year.
